1. The first thing you should do is analyze your own eating habits. Is your diet consumed with saturated fat and sugar? Does it consist of a lot of refined flour or dairy products that might be causing a food allergy? Might you not be getting enough fruits and vegetables leaving your body unprotected from the dangers of free radicals? Are you not drinking enough water? Knowledge is powerful. 3. The third thing to do is limit your intake of refined flours and sugars that raise blood sugar levels and insulin levels. This is not good because high insulin levels tend to increase "bad" prostaglandin hormones. "Bad" prostaglandins tend to increase pain and inflammation. Unfortunately, this pain and inflammation can become a chronic problem like you may experience with back pain. The longer it lasts the greater you are at risk for infection and disease. So limit the refined flours and sweets.

4. The fourth thing you should do is help your body go on the offense by keeping your body suffice with antioxidants. Antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables give your body the protection it needs to neutralize free radicals that have a breaking down or oxidizing effect on your body. The continuous build up of free radicals increases your risk of getting Cancer as well as numerous other diseases. So be sure to eat lots and lots of a variety of different colored fruits and vegetables.
